OUR STORY
Bourke St the Label was born from a desire to bring an element of luxury and sophistication to the canine space — to create pieces that are not only functional, but speak to trends and compliment the wardrobe of the pet owner.
With a background in the Melbourne fashion industry, our founder and creative director Sarah, identified the opportunity for design-driven, contemporary accessories in the pet space.
As a devoted ‘dog-mum’, she herself was struggling to find products that complimented and aligned with her style, so naturally, she decided to design her own collection.
When Covid-19 hit Australian shores and brought the Melbourne fashion industry to a stand still, she took the opportunity to turn this idea into a reality, and so, Bourke St the Label was born.

THE DEBUT COLLECTION
Bourke St the Label strives to offer contemporary, timeless pieces that you and your dog will enjoy for many walks to come. Each of our pieces has been designed with the utmost care and consideration, to strike harmony between functionality and contemporary aesthetic.
The debut Bourke St collection pays homage to our hometown, Melbourne. It adopts a discernible neutral palette, reflective of Melbourne's intrinsic style. Many elements within the range have been inspired by the city we call home — the creativity, the culture, the community and, of course, the canines.
The range features a curated selection of pieces including leads, collars and waste bag holders, designed to compliment the wardrobe of the dog owner with a touch of luxury and sophistication.
We are beyond excited to be sharing our debut collection with you and your pooch. We hope you love these products as much as we loved creating them for you.
